Kent’s Last Night Out!

Today FLEW by! When I got up rachel asked if I wanted to go to breakfast, which sounded sooooooo good! So we went to a place we had heard great things about called the rooster cafe! It was an actual English breakfast not just pastries and we both got the Eggs Benedict! Turns out the owners are boyfriend and girlfriend and the girl is from Minneapolis, so Tahoe loves to florence to be with her boyfriend and together they made an American Breakfast restrauant in Florence! They are doing really well considering they have only been open for 6 months!

Then we took a quick lap at the Christmas Markets by Santa Croce! I got an Ornament there, and it was actually not to crowded so we got to walk and actually see each booth! From here we went and set up our project (for Studio) at the school for the end of the year exhibition show. The fashion students and Architecture students show/display their final designs for the rest of the students and professors to see!

After set up I HAD to stop and see if the leather boots that I have been drooling over were still at my shop! Originally I saw them outside on display when I fell in love but when I went back I didn’t see them anymore, but I had fallen in love so I went down into the shop and showed them the picture! she said they had them but only in limited sizes left! Well lucky for me my size was one of th 5 sizes left! I tried them on and after they were comfortable I was set on buying them! They were a little pricey but honestly I would’ve probably paid a little more for a pair of leather boots back home! So I was so excited with my purchase!

I ran home to quickly get ready for the exhibition show, and off we went! The show was only an hour long, which was more than enough time to walk around and see all of the projects on display! Then the teachers each gave a little presentation on their semester/students/memories. Then we were off to dinner! It was a 4 course meal, and of course delicious! It was a great end to a semester together! It definitely was hard saying goodbye to some friends that leave in the morning and our teachers who got us through the semester! But tomorrow I have some th info to turn in at the school so I will have to say goodbye all over again! But literally 50 Kent state students then together all went to a bar to celebrate the end of the semester with a few drinks! It was a celebration of not only the completion but to new friends, many laughs, and memories!

As excited as I have been to come home the sadness is definitely setting in and has been this whole week, I’m definitely going to miss all of the people I met here, not only friends but also professors! But all the say is, I’ll see you again! And I always respond of course! Sometime soon!
