Disneyland Paris!

Well this time actually Happy Thanksgiving to all my family and friends back in the US! This year I spent my Thanksgiving a little differently than usual but it for sure is one I will remember for the rest of my life!
At 10am this morning we left for Disneyland Paris! So Disneyland is just like the Magic Kingdom in Orlando... but this one did have a tree of life so they did toss some Animal Kingdom in there! There is also a Disney Studios which is like the Hollywood studios in Orlando, that park has more of the bigger rides like the rocking rollercoaster and the tower of terror, but we wanted to get the true Disney experience in the Disneyland Park with seeing the castle and all the characters! We could’ve paid to do both parks but they are only open from 10-7 and we spent ALL of our time just in one! And this year is the 25th anniversary for Disneyland Paris so the park was a little extra special! So our train was about a 45 minute ride from the city center to the very last stop on the line. When we exited the train we had to climb 2 flights of steps... but when you reached the top we were surrounded by everything Disney! My excitement/happiness level hit the roof and emotions got a little high! We rushed the gate and instantly started taking pictures. When you enter the park from under the arches you were instantly overcome with Christmas! Lights were everywhere, christmas music was playing through all the speakers, and of course there was a massive Christmas tree right when you came through the arches into the park! Main Street even had fake snow falling from the sky!
After we finished taking pictures in front of the castle (which is sleeping beauty’s castle opposed to Cinderella’s castle in Orlando) over the speaker there was an announcement that there was a Christmas parade starting in 10 minutes! So of course we stayed to watch and it was so cute! After the parade we rushed to one of the tree rollercoasters in this park! Indiana Jones! I was quite pleased to see that the park was set up just like the magic kingdom and even had many of the same rides! Such as Big Thunder Mountain, Space Mountain, Dumbo, Peter Pans Flight and many many more! We spent the day riding rides and looking in shops! It was absolutely perfect! Our average wait time was 10 minutes! And we REALLY lucked out with the weather! This morning it was calling for rain all day long! And we definitely had some dark sky’s, but it barely rained!
Two friends came with me here and both of them haven’t been to Disney in years! They were shocked about the amount of detail put into the parks and each and every ride! This definitely made me excited for my studies there over this coming summer to learn how this magic is created!
Overall it was just a magical day, and a highlight for my entire trip!
Well that’s all for me! Happy thanks giving to all, and I’m thankful for those of you still reading these posts! 23 days everyone
