The busy week is finally over!!! Today for studio we had a lecture for studio, but since there are only three of us in that class we combined with Syracuse University! It was a moment that was kinda surreal when we walked into a room full of Americans. It reminded me of this experience that i am living. It was cool to meet with another school, AND for once this was a lecture that I really enjoyed, it was about how with a low budget you can still create something beautiful. And sometimes just adding lighting to an area can completely change its function.

Tomorrow morning, Anna and I are leaving for the airport at 4:30 in the morning. Our school early on gave us the name of a taxi service that runs 24 hrs, but i was too paranoid that a taxi wouldn't be available. So I asked my studio teacher if she had any advice, she pulled out her phone and called a taxi service and made us a reservation and everything. So tomorrow morning they will send me a message when they are on their way and I just gotta meet them out there. Our teachers have been so hopeful throughout this whole process. I went to the market today just to pick up a pizza, and when I turned around my art history teacher was right there. I said hello to her, and she pointed out her boyfriend to us, its neat having an actual relationship with all of our teachers. At Miami we are really close with our studio/architecture teachers, but the rest of our teachers we don't really know. Its neat here to have very small classes and get to know our teachers on a more personal level.

We went back to the Santa Maria Novella church today. Its beautiful as usual but today we got to go back into the chapel and actually up on the alter.
