Milkshake & Fries

Its definitely true that after a month in Italy you start to crave some everyday American Food. Something as simple as french fries become SUPER $$$$$ when you enter Italy. Im hoping that is a little different when we go to other countries but to be honest I'm not really sure. Next weekend with Oktoberfest coming I am soooooo excited to have a pretzel with some mustard! And Amsterdam has to be known for fried potatoes or some french fry like substances because there are these stands that sell cones full of french fries or a sliced potato on a stick that is called Amsterdam Bite. BUT today we made the amazing discovery of the 1950 American Diner. Yes thats its name... 1950s American Diner. It was like a Johnny Rockets. It was a cute little place with BIG red booths and BRIGHT neon lights throughout. A milkshake, burger, and fries has never tasted so good! The Oreo milkshake was just like one straight-out of eat-n-park. Whipped cream plopped on top of a milkshake that has no chunks! It hit the spot! But the french fries made the entire meal worth while.

We search for good deals on meals while we are here. Rubaconte Tuesdays with SmartTrip have become a must. 15 euros for bottomless wine and unlimited pasta... with the BIGGEST appetizer plate you have ever seen... its delicious and worth every euro! Tomorrow we are testing out this place that we have heard great things about. Its called Sushi Nami. Its 3 rounds of food: sushi, dumplings, teriyaki chicken, and more yumminess for 10 euros for lunch! So I'm excited! And we just discovered a place on our street that makes BIG sandwiches for 4.50 euros, and they gave us a student discount for 4 euros. AND where we went to dinner last night had a special of any pasta+ a side + a water is 10 euro. Which is an unbelievable price for that amount of food, especially considering a water is 2.50-3 euros.

Well thats all i got for today folks! Sorry this wasn't to exciting, I have to much homework to explore the world today.... Yes i still have to do this thing called school.
